My Big Discovery

I struggled for years running my business, juggling all of the different tasks while remaining energised, motivated and focused on the right things. I often felt like I was working hard but not making the progress I knew I was capable of.

Then one day I had a big ‘ah ha’ moment – I thought “Why don’t I approach my business the same way I approach my martial arts training?”

Martial Arts have long been studied in business for their philosophy and I knew that there were lessons to be learned having just completed a syllabus of training after 17 years of study and passing my final grading.

I set to work mapping out the mindsets, mental models and lessons I’d learned over the past 17 years, particularly focusing on the ones that had helped me overcome the biggest challenges in my life.

The Result

I discovered that the that the key to staying focused, energised and motivated as a business lies in training your mind the same way you train your body – through regular routines and daily practice.
