Confidence is an interesting thing. It’s something we experience in the absence of fear – a feeling that we can handle the challenges that life throws at us.

There are many ways that we can lack confidence and when our confidence is low, life slows down for us – we stop doing the things we really want to do, often opting for more comfortable things instead.

Avoiding ‘putting ourselves out there’ is what holds us back, often for fear of judgement, failure or rejection of some kind and this lack of action is what causes low confidence.
